3. What do you think the purpose of the census is?

Numbers 13-14

1. What are the Israelites commanded to do at the opening of ch. 13? What is the result of their efforts?

2. How do the people react to the returning men?

3. In the beginning of ch. 14 the people refuse to listen to Moses, Aaron, Joshua, and Caleb. How does ch. 14 end? Pay particular attention to the consequences outlined for the generation of people who came up out of Egypt in the Exodus.
