As part of the Information Security Team, you wrote the content on an issue specific policy (ISSP) for password requirements.

Your manager tells you that the policy was rejected during policy draft review because it was noted that the Mainframe cannot accept a password longer than 8 characters in length and it can only accept letter and number characters (no special “complex” characters), which does not align with any other IT network’s and system’s password capabilities.
