Hello class,

The product life cycle is basically the length of time that a specific product is presented to various customers in the market until the stores remove that product from their shelves. When I think about the product life cycle formula the product that comes to mind is a skin care type product used for blemishes called Ambi fade cream. There are four stages in the product life cycle which are introduction, growth, maturity, and decline. When the Ambi fade cream product was introduced into the beauty market people were excited to try the product. The more people that purchased and used the product the more the product grew. Consumers saw that this product actually worked! The Ambi fade cream product has been around for over 20 years and it’s maturity state surpasses mediocre. The Ambi fade cream has worked for the duration of the time sold in stores with it’s original formula. Even though the Ambi fade cream has had much success, I personally feel that it’s decline is close. The product has recently relaunched it’s new formula based product that is supposed to provide the same result; and as a consumer of the product I can say it does not provide the same result if any at all. The product was recalled to have one of it’s ingredients removed per the FDA.
