“A network organization is a group of autonomous, largely one-function businesses that work together to generate a good or service” (Bateman, Snell & Konopaske, 2017). H&M is an organization that exemplifies the network organizational paradigm. In order to collaborate and be successful, H&M has outsourced additional business responsibilities to diverse organizations. “In this situation, H&M is the main corporation. As can be seen, the core company delegated its tasks to various firms, some of which were located in different nations: the product development firm was in Australia, the call center firm was in New Zealand, the accounting firm was in Australia, the distribution firm was in Singapore, and the manufacturing firm was in Malaysia (, 2018). The network organizational structure is used by H&M to assist save expenses, keep a focus, and create flexibility. Given that they maintained control and effectively controlled the operations of their businesses, H&M has successfully applied the network organization model. The cost, quality, service, speed, sustainability, and innovation of networks may all be improved (Bateman, Snell & Konopaske, 2017). Educative Organization A learning organization is one that is adept in producing, acquiring, and disseminating knowledge as well as changing its behavior to account for fresh information and insights (Bateman, Snell & Konopaske, 2017). Toyota is an illustration of a business that employs the learning organization. Toyota has successfully dealt with issues and gained knowledge from both their own and other organizations’ experiences. Toyota has created and used management practices that have elevated them to the top of their field.
