Emotional mastery
Emotions way of human nature shows that people react differently depending on occasions (Mustafa et al.2020). According to this video on emotional mastery, it expresses how people act in different scenarios and the best actions to take to conquer their emotions. Emotional mastery involves basically has been described to contain three primary elements that people need to look at as a way of dealing with their emotions. First is the physical appearance one poses and has a great impact and needs of people. The physical appearance of a person has a lot to say about the what they feel. An upright posture rather displays confidence which should be a practice people should embrace even at low times. Second is the kind of language people use, displaying the kind of emotional state they are in. Often one will always talk foul when they are mad at something. It is however recommended to practice a good habit of being gentle and choose words correctly( Scarpelli et al 2019) . Negative thoughts and language should be avoided but rather focus on positive energy which has a great impact. Lastly one should focus their energy on good things since energy will follow the same direction. Its important to focus one’s energy in the positive things as they are energising and are less stressful.
Mastery of emotions is rather a process that needs to be approached step by step. Teaching people these special steps is rather the best way to help them master their emotions. However, these steps should be considered on a personal level. In my case with careful considerations the steps i consider in mastering emotions would be; take a careful action in identifying the kind of emotion. This step is rather crucial as it helps one act accordingly. The second is to appreciate these emotions I have at the moment and analyse these emotions. Having a good command and control over the emotions, its beneficial as since it gives one the command over his what one feels. At times some emotions do arise accidentally and are triggered by events not planned. Its important to practice understanding and forgive such triggers. Clearly its important that in every situations regardless how one feels seeing the bigger picture rather aids in making things seem cool even when they are not. Devising an action plan and taking action is the last thing one wants to achieve.
Mindfulness
When one hears the word mindfulness different answers do arise. Basically, mindfulness refers to a way of life where people do approach life in a more enjoyable way. Its usually a choice that people can make and clearly understand things how things got to happen (Toniolo-Barrios et al.2021). It is important to be mindfulness as it shows the concern one has. Practising mindfulness puts one ahead of others as it creates the feeling of curiosity while approaching a situation and kindness. Being judgemental to people and posing criticism is to others are not being mindful whatsoever. Its important to understand people through paying attention to what people are saying and clearly trying to understand. Its important to understand the benefits that come along with being mindful; clearly, it helps one to better understand how things get to happen since things are well analysed . It also help in reducing the causes of conflict among people since any issues are well handled in a friendly way. Its important to understand the role that mindfulness plays in preventing stress creation of anxiety and sadness. To avoid such issues therefore one is obliged to live the moment and avoid any future and past thoughts. Though mindfulness things get levelled, there are no cases of conflict. Through mindfulness, one gets to pay a close attention to things to the smallest of details hence avoiding any issues. At any workplace, its important to practice mindfulness, and being paying q close attention to things staying curious are definitely the things one should carry at a workplace. Practising kindness should also be practiced at a workplace while avoiding judgement on workers and other colleagues at work should not be avoided . Mindfulness at work is one of the contributing factors of good work habits that should be practiced. Indeed mindfulness will boost teamwork and boost the sales and the growth of the company.
