1. American daughter main conflict is the plight of the postmodern American women. The play has presented the realistic issues that are happening g in America and need immediate action. The play has revealed a typical mom who tries to handle the day to day issues, shouting after kids and folding laundry as the American Daughter opens. The life of Dr. Lyssa Dent Hughes has been beautifully portrayed by Susan Marie Rhea. The play has held tight attention on the attack of the press and how innocent blunder can flip the shift of the public emotion all while she tries handling the duties of a mom , wife and friend (Dolan and Jill, 453). It has also shed light on the responsibility and role of the media which has an impact on the prospective candidate success irrespective of their contribution to the country or society. Susan Rhea has successfully revealed the perfect combination of softness and care as well as abetting and aiding others. Then play begins Lyssa’s father has presented a conservative senator who has strived at personal gains irrespective of the visions of his daughter. As a daughter of the senator and having lost her mother at a tender age, she has tried to fend herself to make a change in the world.
2. In the mix of play, the actors have been able to include devised work, musical comedy, and a ritual theatre piece that was good for the audiences. The connection of the events by the actors is one of the reason the play was successful. They have skillfully compelled a story with interesting actors that have about a sense of humor allowing the audience to laugh often.
3. Towards the end of the play the reporter who told the story of the jury request Lyssa to look at the bright side (Dolan and Jill, 95). Wendy successfully removes the contemporary feminism models by exploring the various aspects of the existing women’s life. However, in the end, the commitment that matters a lot is not the healthcare or the morally revived politics but the sustaining and individual awareness of the true identity.
4. I feel that the timing of the play is relevant. I think this would be important in helping people consider issues regarding women in terms of political play. The connection of the current events is one of the most relevant reasons to perform the play. An American daughter is offers brainstorming topics, as well as help, continue the discussions while watching the play. The American daughter was chosen because they felt that the artistic leadership recognized that the timing was right for the themes in the play: the media and feminism.  American daughter feels were considered to be one of the most appropriate shows to produce at that moment of the nation’s history. The American daughter was produced in the 90s about the surgeon general who was a nominee had less relevance to people as it does right now

An American daughter has clearly offered an appeal of a film that has attempted to deal with certain political issues that have been able to offer an opportunity to evaluate the issues through the lens of certain characters. Wendy has successfully done this through the Heidi chronicles that she has used in tracing the developments of women movement through focusing on the life of a woman (Balakian and Jan, 125). Ideally, the play has shed light on the importance of American women to show concern about themselves with the possibilities of their rights that have been taken away from them. Ideally, this is a political play that presents the vulnerability of the life of Lyssa who has to accept and reconcile the life irrespective of the difficult situations. Wendy has been able to focus on the feminists from women relationship s to gender politics. She has shown the women that speak out each other and the shifting social realities.
6. The production has explored different attitudes that have served as a cultural mirror revealing the tangled expectations, assumptions and the standards of an indisputably accomplished woman. The production has offered realistic issues which makes the play the most successful, personal, realistic and political play. It also indicates the scenarios, directions as well as the importance of the changed context.
